Since testing time is here in many local schools, I thought it might be helpful to review some basic test taking skills.  Some of the ideas listed here are better suited to the typical classroom test, while others may be applied in any testing situation.

This Saturday (Feb. 5) we are heading down to the High Museum of Art.  We will be meeting at Northwood Elementary at 10:00 a.m. and we'll drive down from there.  For those of you unfamiliar with Northwood, it is located at 10200 Wooten Rd., Roswell, GA 30076.

Snow & Ice Safety

With snow and ice on the ground and schools closed, children often want to enjoy some time outdoors.  While snow is a rare treat in this area, it is important to put SAFETY at the top of our list.

Children need to be especially watchful for cars when they are playing near (on sledding on) the streets.  Here are a few tips to keep your child safe:

Evan Thomas (a former student of Mr. A's.) helped format the background image for our business card.   Evan used his technical expertise to properly size an existing image so that it would fit on the card without distortion.

Saturday @ the High Museum

Hey All,

We had our first trip down to the High Museum on Dec. 4.  Joining us were families with kids from 3rd through 9th grade.  We took in the Dali and Titian Exhibits and went out for bagels at Einstein's afterward.  It was great to connect with former students and to hear about their progress!
