We believe that education is a community undertaking. Children learn their first, and usually their most important lessons, at home. For many, these fundamental lessons are reinforced by their family’s church. Later, the local school builds upon this knowledge by providing a basic education. This foundation is added to throughout the Elementary, Middle and High School years, during which children grapple with increasingly sophisticated concepts.

Today’s families face many challenges! The economic downturn has placed added pressures on all of us, often meaning that both parents need to work in order to make ends meet. In some families, there is only one parent. Finding time to help your child with homework, study for tests, or better understand the concepts taught in school can be difficult. So many parents want to help their child, but find that they lack the time or proper skills to do so.

We’d like to help out! At NFTLP, our primary purpose is to provide local families with high quality tutoring and literacy services. We offer a variety of services including Tutoring, Pre-K Literacy Instruction, and Homework Help as well as assistance with Test Preparation and Test Taking. We offer both Individual and Group Tutoring. If money is an issue, check out our reduced rates for Group Tutoring. We’re sure we can help you find a solution to your family’s educational needs!
